Preference of school

The online system “Preference of school” is open between the 8th and 21st of January 2024. This is where you register your choice of school for a child starting preschool class or year 7. You may apply for a place at both municipality-run schools and independent schools. You can choose unlimited numbers of schools in the e-service.

Our online system

You need electronic identification to be able to sign in. If you do not have e-ID, you can visit one of the local civic offices. The staff there can help you register your school choices. You will need to show them a valid identification document.

If your child has two guardians, both of them must access the online system. One guardian states the preferences and the other guardian approves them. Unless the guardians do so, the application will not be approved.

The school placement process will be completed by mid-March 2024. Guardians can then log in to the online system to see which school the child has been allocated. A letter will also be sent to the child’s registered home address informing guardians of the school placement decision.

Rules for placement

Independent schools have their own rules. Please visit the website of each school to read their rules.

The municipality’s key principle for its schools is that a child should be placed at the school chosen by the child’s guardians. The municipality will try to meet the preferences of guardians as far as possible. If a school receives more applications than it can accept, the children who live relatively closest to the school are given priority. You can find a video clip that explains what is meant by “relative proximity” on our website, you can choose subtitles in your language.

If the guardians are unable to agree on a choice of school or do not state any preference in the e-service, the child will be placed at the school that is geographically closest to the child’s registered home address with vacant places. The same rules apply if it has not been possible to offer a place at any of the schools chosen.

Rules for profiles and specialist programmes

Some of the municipality-run schools have specific profiles and specialist programmes for year 7. These are presented on the websites of the schools and can be searched for through the online system.

Two schools, Berzeliusskolan and Ånestadsskolan, have specialist programmes. Other schools have specific profiles. You can find them in the e-service.

A maximum of two of your choices out of the seven in total may be for these specific profiles/specialist programmes. If you apply for more than two specific profiles/specialist programmes, only the first two will be considered. Placements on specific profiles will be based on the results of a proficiency test.

Schools with years 6, 7, 8 and 9

Pupils are entitled to continue their education at the same school after their sixth year if the school teaches years 7, 8 and 9, but only if you make an active choice in the e-service.

نظامنا على الإنترنت

تحتاج إلى هوية إلكترونية لتتمكن من تسجيل الدخول. إذا لم يكن لديك هوية إلكترونية، فيمكنك زيارة أحد المكاتب المدنية المحلية. يمكن للموظفين هناك مساعدتك في تسجيل المدارس التي تريدها. سوف تحتاج إلى إبراز وثيقة هوية صالحة.

قواعد الالتحاق

المدارس المستقلة لها قواعدها الخاصة. يُرجى زيارة الموقع الإلكتروني لكل مدرسة لقراءة قواعدها والتعرّف عليها.

تتبع البلدية مبدأً رئيسيًا مع مدارسها وهو أنه يجب أن يلتحق الطفل بالمدرسة التي يختارها الأوصياء. ستسعى البلدية جاهدة وبقدر الإمكان إلى تلبية ما يفضله الأوصياء. إذا تلقّت المدرسة طلبات أكثر مما يمكنها قبوله، يتم منح الأولوية للأطفال الذين يعيشون بالقرب من المدرسة نسبيًا. يمكنك العثور على مقطع فيديو يشرح معنى "القرب النسبي" على موقعنا الإلكتروني، ويمكنك اختيار الترجمة بلغتك.

إذا تعذّر على الأوصياء الاتفاق على اختيار المدرسة أو لم يذكروا أي تفضيل في الخدمة الإلكترونية، فسيتم إلحاق الطفل بالمدرسة الأقرب جغرافيًا إلى عنوان منزل الطفل المُسجّل مع الأماكن الشاغرة. تنطبق نفس القواعد إذا لم يكن من الممكن توفير مكان في أي من المدارس المختارة.

قواعد الملفات الشخصية والبرامج المتخصصة

بعض المدارس التي تديرها البلدية لديها ملفات تعريف خاصة وبرامج متخصصة للسنة الـ 7. يتم عرضها على مواقع المدارس الإلكترونية ويمكن البحث عنها من خلال النظام على الإنترنت.

تمتلك المدرستان Berzeliusskolan وÅnestadsskolan برامج متخصصة. المدارس الأخرى لديها ملفات تعريف مُحدّدة. يمكنك العثور عليها في الخدمة الإلكترونية.

قد يكون خياران كحد أقصى من اختياراتك السبعة إجمالاً لهذه الملفات الشخصية/البرامج المتخصصة المحددة. إذا تقدمت بطلب للحصول على أكثر من ملفين/برنامجين متخصصين مُحدّدين، فسيتم النظر في الطلبين الأولين فقط. ستعتمد عمليات الالتحاق في ملفات تعريف مُحدّدة على نتائج اختبار الكفاءة.

المدارس التي تتضمّن صفوف 6 و7 و8 و9

يحق للتلاميذ مواصلة تعليمهم في نفس المدرسة بعد إكمال الصف السادس إذا كانت المدرسة تتضمّن الصفوف 7 و8 و9، ولكن فقط إذاقمت باختيار نشط في الخدمة الإلكترونية.
